Oh, Angel Tree! Charitable giving reminds us that holidays are for everyone
Since the tradition was started back in 1979 by Charles and Shirley White, the Angel Tree program has become one of the Salvation Army’s most recognizable initiatives, its trademark trees and tags decking the halls of businesses the world over. More than that, the program has given millions of children the cheer they all deserve.

The Salvation Army To Speak At Anti-Human Trafficking Event At The State House
The Salvation Army will participate in the 3rd Annual Anti-Human Trafficking Day at the State House. Major Annette Lock of the Portland Corps will bring remarks as well as others on the efforts to combat human trafficking. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at The State Capitol Building- Halls of Flags, Augusta, Maine.
