Loading a
Distribution File

Note: Distribution files are almost always sent via Lotus Notes as an email attachment. Follow these instructions with the Distribution file that was sent to you.

If you receive a Distribution file on a 3 1/2 floppy disk insert it into your computer and select "copy from floppy first."

To load this file, right click on the icon and choose save from the options menu. (Save it in C:/ccsr/DIST)

Once it is saved go into the statistical program under "utilities" - "profile management", and then slide over to and click on "load distribution files."

On the new dialogue box that appears you will notice two options -
(1 Copy from floppy first & 2 Begin updates immediately.) You will want to change the selected option to "begin updates immediately" and then click "update" on the right.

Once the update is complete you will have your new line(s).
